<br />Liverpool are considering a move for Juventus Italy winger Federico Chiesa. <br /><br />The 26 year old attacker has been deemed surplus to requirements by Juva manager Thiago Mota, who took charge earlier this summer. <br /><br />Key Essa, part of Italy's EUR 24 squad, has one year left on his contract. <br /><br />He was not named in the squad for Mata's first league game against Como and was also absent against Verona on Monday. <br /><br />Liverpool sporting director said the club would be opportunistic if we can when it came to signings.<br /><br />The Reds have shown exploratory interest in several players and it is understood the interest in Chiesa has not gone further. <br /><br />Liverpool are closing in on a deal for Valencia goalkeeper Georgi Mamardashvili but have yet to make a signing this summer. <br /><br />Kiesa joined Juventus from Fiorentina in 2020 for up to £54 million. <br /><br />He has played 131 times for the club and was part of Italy's EUR 2020 winning squad, but form and injuries have limited his appearances recently.
